About me
Hi there! I'm Patrick Schröder, an independent software engineer with several years of hands-on experience in building scalable, well-documented, and testable software solutions. I specialize in Python, data visualization, and backend development, and I currently operate my own registered software development business. I'm available for B2B collaborations (40h/week) and open to both long-term projects and short-term development work.
I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Łódź, where I conducted research in computational physics—developing numerical solutions to complex problems involving high-powered laser interaction with metal surfaces. This experience sharpened my algorithmic thinking and reinforced my ability to solve intricate challenges through code.
Professionally, I’ve contributed to a wide range of projects, including desktop applications, web tools, and automation scripts. I’ve worked in Agile teams and independently, leveraging frameworks like Django and visualization libraries such as Matplotlib and PyQt6. I place a strong emphasis on clean code, thorough documentation, and thoughtful testing practices to ensure maintainable solutions.
Outside of tech, I merge mathematics and creativity through digital fractal art, using Python to generate unique visual designs. You can find my work on my Fractal Art Website."
